Governance
Mako is a Dragon Boats NSW member (DBNSW) affiliated with the Australian Dragon Boat Federation (AusDBF) and is subject to its Policies, including the National Integrity Framework.
Equipment
The club relies heavily on our boats and equipment. If you see anything that needs attention, speak up, and we’ll fix it.
Talk to Your Captain
The Mako Captain is a paddler’s representative to the Committee. If you need to raise anything, don’t hesitate to contact your Captain first.
Sweeping
Mako’s approach is to grow the club’s pool of sweeps while building the competencies required to operate on JB’s waterways.
Club JB Monthly Raffle
Every Mako participates in the Club JB monthly raffle. It’s a great fundraiser, and Club Jervis Bay provides incredible support.
Uniforms
Mako has a racing and off-water clothing range. If you have a question, you can Email Mako Uniforms. Once you are a paid member, you can also visit the online Mako Uniform Shop.
